Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These Terms govern your purchase and use of NammaWeb website services, templates, customisation services, hosting, domain assistance, and related services. By purchasing, requesting, creating, publishing, or using a NammaWeb website or service, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
NammaWeb is a website service operated under the business name NammaWeb from Maddur, Mandya, Karnataka, India. In these Terms, “NammaWeb”, “we”, and “us” mean that business. For service, privacy, cancellation, refund, complaint, or webpage-reporting questions, contact our Support Team at hello@nammaweb.in. We reply within 48 hours and aim to resolve a complaint or grievance within 7 days of receiving the information needed to look into it. For a general question you can also call us or message us on WhatsApp at +91 93538 10370. A cancellation, refund, complaint, privacy request, or webpage report must be sent by email, so that there is a written record of it; the reply and resolution times in these Terms apply to requests received by email.
Plans, website service, and customer choices
NammaWeb provides catalogue-based website services. Depending on the selected plan, you may choose a website design from the NammaWeb template catalogue and have it configured or customised using your business name, branding, logo, text, photographs, services, products, contact information, links, colours, and other supported content or options.
The purchase of a website plan is a purchase of the website service described for that plan. It is not a purchase of the original NammaWeb template or NammaWeb’s underlying template system. Each plan has defined features, pages, customisation limits, and other scope restrictions. Features, integrations, custom development, additional pages, domains, migration work, or other services outside the selected plan may require a separate agreement or quotation.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old and authorised to accept these Terms for yourself or for the business or organisation you represent.
What NammaWeb is, and is not
NammaWeb provides template-based websites for individuals, professionals, organisations, and eligible businesses. A NammaWeb website is a simple online home for the public information its owner chooses to show, such as a business or personal identity, services, work, contact details, links, and images. A self-serve plan includes the website, built from a template you choose and edit, and one year at a NammaWeb-hosted website address. Anything further, such as assisted setup, custom work, or help with a domain you own, is provided only where it is separately agreed.
NammaWeb is not a business-verification, identity-verification, endorsement, advertising, marketing, search-engine-optimisation, lead-generation, directory, marketplace, payment-processing, e-commerce, booking, inventory-management, database, legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, or professional-advice service, unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise. A contact form on a NammaWeb website opens the visitor’s own email application; NammaWeb does not receive, store, or deliver those messages.
NammaWeb does not investigate, approve, certify, endorse, promote, monitor for accuracy, or guarantee the identity, legitimacy, qualifications, licences, availability, prices, claims, products, services, reviews, or conduct of a customer or its website. A published website means only that the customer has made content publicly accessible through NammaWeb. It does not mean NammaWeb has verified or endorsed that customer.
NammaWeb does not guarantee visitors, enquiries, leads, sales, rankings, discoverability, business outcomes, or uninterrupted availability. Customers remain responsible for their content, their business, the notices and consents that apply to them, and compliance with the laws that apply to them. NammaWeb may refuse, suspend, or end service for a use that is unlawful or that breaks these Terms.
Your content, business, and permissions
You retain ownership of materials that belong to you or that you are authorised to use, including your business name, trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, written content, product or service information, contact information, and other materials supplied by you (“Customer Content”). You are solely responsible for your Customer Content and for claims published through your website.
NammaWeb does not verify that a business, person, product, service, qualification, offer, review, price, licence, representation, or other claim supplied by a customer is genuine, lawful, accurate, available, or suitable. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, licences, permissions, notices, and consents required to use and publish Customer Content, including personal information relating to other people.
You grant NammaWeb a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, format, technically adapt, reproduce, display, and transmit Customer Content only as reasonably necessary to create, customise, publish, host, maintain, secure, support, or provide your website and related NammaWeb services. This licence does not transfer ownership of your Customer Content to NammaWeb.
NammaWeb templates and intellectual property
NammaWeb and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in NammaWeb’s original templates, template catalogue, reusable layouts, website structures, design systems, components, styling systems, reusable code, software, internal development files, libraries, tools, processes, documentation, platform infrastructure, branding, and other pre-existing or reusable materials (“NammaWeb Materials”). Your purchase does not transfer ownership of NammaWeb Materials to you.
Customising a NammaWeb template using your logo, colours, text, photographs, business information, sections, configuration, or other changes does not transfer ownership of the underlying NammaWeb template or NammaWeb Materials. NammaWeb may continue to use, modify, improve, license, customise, or provide the original template and its reusable layouts, components, functionality, techniques, and other NammaWeb Materials to other customers. Different NammaWeb customer websites may therefore share templates, layouts, components, features, styles, structures, or other design characteristics.
The photographs, illustrations, and other images supplied with a NammaWeb template (“Template Images”) are NammaWeb Materials, supplied as sample content. If you keep a Template Image on your Delivered Website, you may display it only as part of that website, wherever it is hosted under these Terms, and only while you have the right to use the website under these Terms. You must not copy, download, extract, or use a Template Image anywhere else, including on another website, in print, in advertising or social media, or in any product, and you must not sell, sublicense, or distribute it. The same Template Images may appear on other customers’ websites. Any image you upload is Customer Content, and you are responsible for having the right to use it.
Logos of third-party products, such as those shown beside the skills listed on a portfolio website, belong to their owners. They are shown only to identify the product named beside them and do not mean that the owner endorses you or NammaWeb.
Your customised website
The website created for you using your selected template and Customer Content is your “Delivered Website”. Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable website fee, NammaWeb grants you a non-exclusive, continuing licence to use the Delivered Website for the business, organisation, professional practice, portfolio, project, or other purpose for which it was created.
You may publish and operate your Delivered Website using NammaWeb hosting or, where technically practical, through another hosting provider. Where you receive a copy of the deployable website files under the Website Files section below, you may also back up and modify those files, or engage another developer or service provider to modify them, for the operation of your Delivered Website. These rights apply to your customised website and do not grant ownership of or rights to commercially exploit the underlying NammaWeb template or other NammaWeb Materials.
Website files and code requests
NammaWeb does not provide an automatic template or code-download facility as part of the standard website purchase. After purchasing a website, you may request a copy of the deployable files for your customised Delivered Website by contacting hello@nammaweb.in and providing sufficient information for NammaWeb to verify the relevant purchase. NammaWeb may require you to confirm that your use of the files remains subject to these Terms before the files are provided.
Depending on the website and technology used, the files supplied may include published HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, assets, or other files reasonably required to deploy the customised website (“Delivered Website Files”). Delivered Website Files do not necessarily include NammaWeb’s original template project, editable template source, component library, internal development repository, build environment, design-system files, generators, development tooling, internal configuration, platform code, or other NammaWeb Materials used to create or maintain the website.
You may use, store, back up, host, and modify Delivered Website Files for the operation of your Delivered Website. You must not extract, package, reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially offer the underlying NammaWeb template or NammaWeb Materials as a template, template collection, website builder, design system, software product, competing website service, or substantially similar reusable product.
Custom development
Where NammaWeb performs separately quoted custom development, the ownership terms stated in the applicable quotation or written agreement will apply. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, payment for customisation or custom development does not by itself transfer NammaWeb’s ownership of reusable software, components, modules, layouts, functionality, technical solutions, design systems, methods, improvements, or other reusable materials created or used while providing the work.
You continue to own your Customer Content. If a project requires exclusive ownership, assignment of intellectual property, delivery of development source files, exclusivity, or restrictions on NammaWeb reusing particular work, those rights must be expressly agreed in writing and may require separate pricing.
Acceptable use and enforcement
You must not use NammaWeb to publish unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, harmful, sexually exploitative, privacy-violating, malware-containing, or impersonating material; violate another person’s rights; or interfere with NammaWeb’s services or infrastructure. NammaWeb may investigate, remove, disable, suspend, or restrict a website, account, content item, or access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, applicable law, a third-party right, platform security, or a lawful request. We may act without prior notice where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, prevention of harm, or protection of the service.
Reporting a webpage or content
To report suspected infringement, impersonation, unlawful content, privacy harm, or another breach, email hello@nammaweb.in with the webpage URL, a clear description of the issue, your name and contact details, and any supporting information or authority to act. Our Support Team is the contact point for these reports. We will reply to a complete report within 48 hours and resolve it within 7 days, subject to any faster requirement imposed by applicable law.
We may request additional information, notify the affected customer where appropriate, or temporarily suspend or disable a webpage while reviewing a credible report. We do not guarantee a particular outcome but will act as required by applicable law and as reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.
Hosting
Each self-serve website plan is bought together with one year of a NammaWeb website address and hosting maintenance: the address itself, and keeping the website hosted and served at it. This yearly address and hosting maintenance fee depends on the kind of address you choose and is shown at checkout before you pay. It does not renew automatically, and you are not charged again unless you choose to renew.
You can renew for another year from your NammaWeb account in the 30 days before the paid year ends, and afterwards for as long as your website address is kept for you. Renewal is a single payment of the yearly address and hosting maintenance fee for your address option as shown at that time. We email the address on your NammaWeb account 30 days and 7 days before the paid year ends, on the day it ends, and again when the website is taken offline.
If the website is not renewed, it stays online for 30 days after the paid year ends and is then taken offline. Your content and your website address are kept for a further 60 days; renewing in that time puts the website back online, for a year from the day you renew. After those 60 days the website address is released and may be given to another customer. Your saved content is not deleted when that happens, and restoring the website is then by arrangement with our Support Team, at an address that is available. Purchasing NammaWeb hosting does not change the ownership provisions in these Terms. Likewise, choosing not to renew NammaWeb hosting does not transfer ownership of NammaWeb templates or NammaWeb Materials. Where applicable, you may request Delivered Website Files in accordance with these Terms and arrange alternative hosting.
We work to keep NammaWeb-hosted websites available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or 100% uptime. Maintenance, security work, connectivity problems, infrastructure providers, third-party services, and other technical or legal requirements may affect availability. If technical, operational, security, or legal requirements make it necessary, NammaWeb may move a NammaWeb-hosted webpage to another NammaWeb-controlled address. Except where urgent action is required, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and preserve the website’s content and functionality.
Domains
If you already own a domain, you remain responsible for ownership, renewal, registrar charges, and maintaining that domain unless NammaWeb expressly agrees to provide a particular domain-management service. Connecting a customer-owned domain is not part of a self-serve plan. Where NammaWeb agrees to assist, it does so by separate arrangement.
If you need a new domain, you may purchase it directly from a domain registrar or ask NammaWeb to assist. Any applicable registration, renewal, transfer, management, or assistance charge will be disclosed before purchase. Domain registrars, external hosting providers, email providers, and other third-party services may be subject to separate charges and their own terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a customer-owned domain to NammaWeb.
Third-party services
Your website or NammaWeb service may use third-party services such as payment providers, domain registrars, infrastructure providers, email providers, analytics providers, maps, embedded services, or other integrations. Third-party products and services are governed by their respective providers’ terms, availability, limits, and privacy practices. NammaWeb is not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions, suspensions, or discontinuation caused by a third-party service except to the extent required by applicable law.
Website promotion, sharing, and discoverability
Unless a separate service expressly states otherwise, NammaWeb does not advertise, promote, distribute, or actively share your published website on your behalf. You are responsible for deciding where, how, and with whom you share or promote your website, including through social media, messaging applications, search listings, advertising platforms, printed materials, QR codes, business directories, or other channels.
Hosting a website with NammaWeb does not guarantee visitors, enquiries, leads, search-engine ranking, discoverability, sales, or other business results. NammaWeb may provide the technical means for your website to be publicly accessible through its published URL, but public accessibility does not mean that NammaWeb is endorsing, advertising, or promoting your business or website.
NammaWeb may reference or display a customer website only where the customer has separately agreed to that use, or where reasonably necessary to operate, support, secure, or demonstrate the service in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
Payments
Fees are displayed or quoted before payment. The displayed prices for NammaWeb website plans include payment-gateway charges unless expressly stated otherwise. NammaWeb does not add a separate payment-processing charge after checkout. The website address, assisted setup, domains, domain assistance, custom work, integrations, additional services, and third-party services are charged as disclosed before purchase.
NammaWeb is not registered under GST, because registration is not currently required of it. The price shown at checkout is the full amount you pay: no GST is added to it, and NammaWeb does not issue GST tax invoices. If NammaWeb becomes registered, the tax that applies will be shown before payment, and will apply only to payments made after that. Cancellation and refund requests are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Cancellation, refunds, and website rights
If a website purchase is cancelled and refunded in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy, NammaWeb may stop work, unpublish or suspend a NammaWeb-hosted website, and terminate rights granted under these Terms in relation to the refunded service. If Delivered Website Files were supplied before an approved refund, the licence granted for those files in connection with the refunded purchase ends when the refund is issued. You must stop publishing or using those files and delete copies under your control, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A refund does not affect your ownership of your original Customer Content. Third-party charges and separately quoted work may have different cancellation or refund conditions as disclosed before purchase.
Service changes
NammaWeb may update, improve, replace, or discontinue templates, functionality, infrastructure, or features for operational, product, security, legal, or technical reasons. Changes to the template catalogue do not affect your ownership of Customer Content. Where reasonably possible, changes affecting an existing paid service will be handled in a manner consistent with the scope purchased by the customer.
Disclaimers and liability
NammaWeb provides its services on an “as available” basis. We do not promise a particular business result, search ranking, customer enquiry volume, lead volume, revenue, sale, conversion rate, or uninterrupted availability. NammaWeb does not provide legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, or professional advice and does not certify that a customer’s business, content, or website complies with every law or regulation applicable to that customer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NammaWeb is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from the service or Customer Content. Our total liability for a claim relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid NammaWeb for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms for operational, security, legal, technical, or product reasons. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date and will apply prospectively. A change to these Terms will not retrospectively change the price or core scope of an already-paid service unless required by law or agreed with you.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts with jurisdiction in Mandya, Karnataka may hear disputes, without limiting any consumer right or other forum available under applicable law.
For questions about a website, quotation, these Terms, website-file request, cancellation, privacy matter, or published webpage, contact hello@nammaweb.in.
