NammaWeb uses personal information to provide our website services, customise and publish websites, process purchases, provide hosting and support, respond to requests, secure our services, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. NammaWeb operates from Maddur, Mandya, Karnataka, India. For privacy questions or requests, contact our Support Team at hello@nammaweb.in.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use NammaWeb, we may collect your name; email address; phone number; business or organisation name; plan or service selected; domain information or domain requests; messages and support requests; website-file requests; website content; logos, photographs, documents, and other uploaded assets; business contact information; product or service information supplied for your website; sign-in and account activity; the phone number you call or message us from and what you send us if you contact us by phone or WhatsApp; payment and order references; and technical information such as IP-address-derived security signals, browser information, or other information reasonably required to operate and protect the service.
To understand how people use NammaWeb, we record first-party product events such as visits to our landing, template, Auto-pilot, and checkout pages; successful sign-ins; checkout attempts; verified payment captures; and first publication. These records use a random identifier that lasts only for one browser tab, coarse browser and device categories, country code, and referring host. We do not retain a raw IP address, full browser identifier, page query string, email address, phone number, payment credential, or website content in analytics events.
When a NammaWeb staff member prepares a website for you, we may collect the details needed to build, show, sell, support, or renew it: your business information, contact name, phone number, optional email address, supplied content and images, selected template, and payment or renewal details. Before staff make a public website preview for a prospective customer, they record that customer’s agreement and email address. The preview is a view-only link that lasts eight hours. Anyone it is shared with may view or capture what it shows, but only the email address recorded for the preview can use it to start an account draft.
Payment providers may collect additional information directly from you in order to process payments. A contact form on a customer website prepares an email in the visitor’s own email application, addressed to the customer operating that website. What the visitor sends goes from their own email provider to that customer; it does not pass through NammaWeb and NammaWeb does not store it.
Customer Content and published information
Information you ask us to publish on your website—including business contact details, photographs, text, links, products, services, and contact options—may become publicly accessible. Publicly available website information can be viewed, saved, indexed, or copied by other people and services.
Do not submit or publish sensitive personal information unless you have an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards. You are responsible for obtaining any notice, permission, or consent required from people whose personal information you supply to NammaWeb, publish through your website, or collect through your website, including any required parent or guardian permission relating to children.
Published websites and promotion
NammaWeb does not ordinarily advertise, promote, or actively distribute customer websites or Customer Content on the customer’s behalf. Customers are responsible for choosing where and with whom they share their published website. If NammaWeb wishes to use a customer’s website, branding, screenshots, or Customer Content for promotional or portfolio purposes, we will obtain any consent or permission that is reasonably required before doing so.
How we use information
We may use personal information as reasonably necessary to create and customise your website; apply your branding and Customer Content to a selected website design; prepare, publish, and deploy websites; host and maintain websites; connect or assist with domains where requested; process and verify purchases; verify website-file requests; prepare and provide requested Delivered Website Files; authenticate users; provide technical and customer support; communicate about purchases, hosting renewals, service requests, and account matters; protect NammaWeb, customers, and visitors against fraud, abuse, and security threats; troubleshoot and improve our services; investigate complaints or reports; and comply with applicable law and legal obligations.
Where you request a copy of your customised website files, Customer Content and public website information that form part of that website may be included in those files.
Contact forms on customer websites
A contact form on a customer website does not send anything to NammaWeb. It prepares an email in the visitor’s own email application, addressed to the customer operating that website. That customer decides why the information is collected and is responsible for how it is used and kept.
How we share information
We disclose information only where reasonably required to provide, secure, support, or administer NammaWeb services, fulfil a customer request, or comply with law. Service providers may include Cloudflare for hosting, networking, infrastructure, and security; Resend for email delivery; Razorpay for payment processing; WhatsApp, operated by Meta, if you choose to message us there; domain registrars or domain-service providers where you request domain assistance; and other infrastructure, support, or technology providers reasonably required for a service you request.
Those providers may process information under their own terms, privacy practices, security measures, and legal obligations, including in locations outside your state or country. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, court order, regulatory authority, or a valid governmental request.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay or another payment provider identified at checkout. NammaWeb does not store your full payment-card number, UPI PIN, or online-banking credentials. We may receive and retain transaction information such as the payment status, amount, transaction reference, order reference, payment-provider reference, and other information necessary to identify and administer a purchase.
Browser storage and account sessions
NammaWeb may use browser storage or similar technologies where necessary to maintain a signed-in session, remember required application state, secure the service, provide functionality, or keep a random analytics journey identifier for the current browser tab. You may remove locally stored information by signing out, closing the tab, or clearing browser data, although doing so may affect functionality.
Retention
We retain account, project, purchase, payment, website-file-request, and support information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service; maintain appropriate transaction and project records; respond to support requests; resolve disputes; prevent fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
First-party analytics events are kept for 28 days and then deleted. They are used in aggregate to understand page visits and conversion through Auto-pilot, checkout, payment, and publication.
For each website you build with NammaWeb we keep one saved draft and, once it is published, the version that is live together with versions that were live before it. Saving again replaces the earlier draft; earlier drafts are not kept. You can have one unpaid draft for each template.
A staff-made website that has not been paid for is deleted 30 days after its most recent payment opportunity ends, or 30 days after it was last saved when staff never asked for payment. A prospect demo and its images are deleted 30 days after its most recent preview link expires, or 30 days after it was last saved when it was never shared. Paid websites and their records are retained as needed to provide the service and meet legal, payment, accounting, and operational obligations.
Questions, quotation requests, requests for a template, and problem reports sent to NammaWeb through our own forms are stored by NammaWeb and emailed to our team. Our team may add working notes to a request, such as who is handling it, a follow-up date, and a quoted amount, and may reply to you by email from NammaWeb; those notes and a copy of our reply are kept with the request. The request, the notes, and the reply are deleted from our systems 30 days after the request was sent, and you may ask us to delete them sooner. The copy emailed to our team is kept only as long as needed to deal with the request. If you call us or message us on WhatsApp, the call or message reaches us through your phone provider or WhatsApp under their own terms, and we keep the conversation only as long as needed to deal with your question. NammaWeb does not receive or store messages sent through a contact form on a customer website.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online system, transmission method, hosting provider, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy requests
Subject to applicable law and legitimate legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, contractual, and operational requirements, you may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of information; withdraw consent where consent is the basis on which information is processed; or raise a concern about how personal information is being used.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal and may not prevent processing that remains necessary to fulfil an existing paid service or comply with applicable law. Where withdrawing consent makes it impossible to provide a requested feature or service, that feature or service may no longer be available.
Reports concerning published websites
If you believe personal information has been improperly published or collected through a NammaWeb-hosted webpage, email hello@nammaweb.in. Please provide the webpage URL, an explanation of the issue, and sufficient information for us to review the report. Our Support Team will reply to a privacy request, report, or grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within 7 days of receiving the information needed to act on it, or sooner where applicable law requires.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, service providers, or legal obligations. The current version and its revision date will be published on this page. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@nammaweb.in.
